I wish the Nike Frees fit me right. They feel fantastic until I try to run and then the heels are always too wide and they eat my socks. On the plus side, they make good casual shoes because I never have to untie them. The pair you got look pretty badass; I love that pattern.
Signed,
Sick of all the pink running shoes

Those were the plainest looking ones they had on stock, I really dislike colorful shoes. Have you tried getting the laces tighter? that would shorten the heel slack, probably

I wear Saucony Omni’s. They're great shoes, if not very durable. But that's no problem, cause I'm growing out of shoes before I wear them out and have two pairs because Cross Country season be intense, yo

Oh, I do the heel lock lacing and everything. Doesn’t matter. I can deal with some running shoes (not Nikes) but it’s a total pain for snowboard boots.

I don’t mind purple! Especially with the green :)
I have some gray Merrells with purple laces and orange soles that I love dearly for trail running and I just wish they’d make more dark shoes for women. Black, gray, purple, navy, whatever. I have big feet, I prefer them less noticeable.

I use those Kilkennys for racing, and it's fun to leave competitors with the image of a six foot tall guy in these really fucking purple spikes.

I am an Asics man to the bone, been wearing pair after pair of their Gel Nimbus for years.
But those Nikes are pretty damn awesome.

I have a pair of the Zoom Flyweaves, I prefer them to the Knit ones as far as longevity goes.
